Tsundoku

Tsundoku is a Japanese word that describes the habit of buying books and letting them pile up unread. It's a portmanteau of tsundeoku (to pile things up) and dokusho (reading). The term refers to the books themselves and the act of acquiring them without reading, often viewed with a sense of joy and anticipation for future reading rather than shame.
